NYI Status

Global Crossing will be performing a Software Upgrade on equipment upstream from our 999 Frontier Road (NJ1) facility, beginning July 16th at 1:30AM, and ending July 16th at 2:00AM.

Clients with equipment in NJ1 should not see any effects from this maintenance.

UPDATE: This maintenance window was rescheduled to begin at 4 AM on the morning of August 1st.

No impact on NYI customers is expected from the below maintenance.

Date & Time:  05/11/10 00:00 - 03:00 EDT

Location(s):  Eastern U.S.

Description:  AboveNet will be performing configuration changes during the scheduled maintenance on our backbone routers. 

Customer Impact:  Engineers will work on one router at a time to minimize the impact of this maintenance.  Dual attached customers and switch attached customers may experience momentary degraded performance in the form of increased latency or momentary packet loss.  Single attached customers should anticipate as much as 10 to 15 minutes of downtime.

Sometime between the hours of 11 PM on 2009-11-07 and 6 AM 2009-11-08, RCN will be performing a software upgrade on an optical digital cross connect device, which could effect circuits entering 100 William Street.  We have been informed that no NYI-related circuits will be impacted.
