The ISP Virgin Media in the UK is experiencing internal routing and DNS issues that prevent access to many other Internet providers globally, including NYI. Customers using Virgin Media may not be able to access services hosted at NYI at times.
We’ve contacted all of our upstream providers and have verified the issue is internal to Virgin – therefore it cannot be mitigated or routed around. We’re monitoring the situation and will update you when the issue is believed to be resolved.
UPDATE: It appears that Virgin has restored service as of the afternoon of November 4th.
