Dear Customer,
As you may know, New York City and the surrounding region are being impacted by the 2026 blizzard, a powerful Nor’easter bringing heavy snow and strong winds.
City officials have declared a state of emergency and enacted a travel ban for all non-essential vehicles on city streets, highways, and bridges from 9:00 p.m. Sunday through noon Monday. In addition to roadway restrictions, service disruptions and delays are expected across regional transportation systems, including NJ Transit, the LIRR, MTA subway and bus lines, and PATH trains.
We want to assure you that NYI-Sirius is prepared for the storm and has taken proactive measures to ensure facility resiliency under severe weather conditions:
- Our team has completed preventative checks of our critical HVAC systems, protected power infrastructure, and secured all rooftop equipment and assets.
- We have critical personnel on site who are actively monitoring conditions.
- We will remain vigilant throughout the storm to mitigate its impact and maintain uptime and service continuity for your operations.
For your safety, we strongly encourage customers to avoid travel during the storm and comply with local advisories. Our on-site teams and remote support resources will remain available to assist you as needed.
