We are currently monitoring the winter storm expected to impact the NYC area over the next 48 hours. This storm has been named Winter Storm Quinlan by The Weather Channel. While we do not expect any significant impact to our operations, NYI is prepared with contingency plans in place for any unforeseen developments. Our local site team has verified that all critical equipment is ready to guard against interruptions of utility power. Generator fuel levels have been checked and topped off as necessary.
– Travel to the NY2 facility may become difficult and unsafe as a result of the storm, so please feel free to engage our remote hands services for any emergency incidents.
– All non-emergency incidents and requests may be delayed as our staff is focused on facility operations during the storm.
– Please note that freight and loading dock services will be suspended or reduced on Monday, March 14th as the situation warrants.
We will provide additional updates at nyistatus.com as needed. If you have any questions please visit the myNYI portal or call our 24×7 Network Operations Center at +1-800-288-7387.
