NYI Status

Our circuit provider Level3 will perform maintenance on the circuit connected to our router at NYIIX. The maintenance window is scheduled on Thursday, January 21, 2010 from 00:00 ET to 06:00 ET. During the maintenance window, our bgp peering session with our peers at NYIIX will be down for up to 5 minutes.

UPDATE: Telehouse has again reschedule this maintenance window to Saturday, January 30th starting at 9:00pm and ending 10:00pm.

UPDATE: Telehouse has rescheduled this maintenance to Saturday, December 19th, 9PM - 10PM.

Telehouse has scheduled a maintenance at 25 Broadway on;

Date: Thursday, December 17th starting at 9:00pm and lasting until 10:00pm.

This is to improve reliability of our air conditioning system. We need to shut down all CRAC units on the 6th floor . We will do everything to stabilize the room temperature. We expect no service impact with this work.

A floor cleaning and under-floor cleaning will begin in data center NY1 at 9AM on Wednesday, November 18th.

We have just been informed that on the morning of Saturday, October 10th, building engineers will be performing maintenance on the power infrastructure at 100 William Street. We do not expect to lose power to any of our facilities in the building, but will have our generators on stand-by as a precaution. In order to prevent and if necessary deal with any issues that may arise during this period, we will have engineers from our generator maintenance vendor on call, as well as electricians and extra technical support staff.

Sometime between the hours of 11 PM on 2009-11-07 and 6 AM 2009-11-08, RCN will be performing a software upgrade on an optical digital cross connect device, which could effect circuits entering 100 William Street.  We have been informed that no NYI-related circuits will be impacted.

The biometric scanner unit providing access into the main room of datacenter NY1 (21st floor of our 100 William Street location) has been replaced. Those clients who were experiencing sluggish fingerprint scans and other issues when attempting to gain access via that scanner are asked to let us know if you see any further issues.
